This section contains links to information on the PCA Web site that is of interest to promoters who are running a PA BAR race and for those promoters who are considering petitioning for PA BAR status in the future.

Guidelines and Standards

The Rules Section of this web site contains most of what you need to know by way of BAR and State Championship standards. The Rules Section can be accessed from the left-hand menu of most pages. In addition, here are some specific links to information about race standards:

PCA Finish Line Camera

All BAR races are required to provide sufficiently detailed results to place all finishers in all categories. The PCA has a camera available for loan - however, promoters are encouraged to use professional services to provide results. This camera is available to promoters who are associated with an affiliated club, or who are themselves affiliated with the PCA. Detailed information is available on setup and operation of the camera. Promoters should appoint a member of their race organization team to review these instructions completely before your event occurs. The equipment is not difficult to operate, but it does require some time to become familiar with the capabilities and methods for achieving optimal results.
